We find Hong Kong very inspiring and could post hundreds of pictures from our trip, but this will be the last of it - promise!

We really enjoyed our visit to Hong Kong. The last picture is of a colour parade that we passed by.

Once in life everybody have been to IKEA - the Swedish leader of forniture - and going around their shops, have noticed the large choice of patterns and colors available for every kind of product. It’s certain: Swedish and, in general, Scandinavian people likes colours and this the result of their tradition way of life always in touch with nature. This is the last part of our jurney into the lands of Rune and Viking, and we want to talk about some brans who, like IKEA, see the world throught colorfull and bright patterns creating funny and functional products.

The last lap of our trip is Danemark, where we find the brand BEST BEHAVIOR created in 2004 by two designers Marie Ørberg and Malene Brøchner, with the aim of realizing woman collections with a deep attention in design and where the use of interesting details and simple colors, work together with an extreme comfort giving a strong identity to the product. For this season the brand proposes a collection based on a game among colors and stripes. The color palette is made by fruits and herbs such as mandarin, mushroom, orange and mint that, together with fabrics and patterns, makes this proposal close to all the women who express themselves throught colors. The silhouettes are soft with not so exagerated volumes mixed up with some retrò lines that makes everything more interesting and spirited.
As happens in the IKEA world, those designers make everything more light, funny and surely less dramatic. Their target are people who see in color the last way out from the grey monotony of metropolis, designing products nearer to that nature which all the scandinavian brands continually celebrate throught the chromatic choice and the use of eco-friendly fabrics.
